Our woods on show

Have you been to see 'Forestry Ventures: a century of change in Fingle Woods', our exhibition in the Greenhill Art Gallery? As it says on the tin the exhibition explores the history of the woods over the last one hundred years. It tells the story of the people who have lived and worked there, from charcoal makers and woodsmen to the lumber Jill's in the second world war and focuses on the pioneering woodland management of the Dartington Hall Trust. If you have a story about the woods we'd love to hear from you at finglewoods@woodlandtrust.org.uk. The exhibition is taking place in the Greenhill Art Gallery (Fore Street, Moretonhampstead) until Saturday the 28th of October and entry is FREE.We are also holding a couple of associated workshops, for full details see below:[gallery type="slideshow" size="large" ids="6067,6068,6069,6070"]
