The final Fingle Lecture of the year will be an illustrated talk by local photographer Paul Moody and Fingle project manager David Rickwood. Paul has taken a staggering quarter of a million pictures of Fingle, so we’ll be selecting some our favourites for this photographic round up of 2018 and to celebrate 5 years of the Woodland Trust and National Trust owning and managing this very special place. With evocative images and funny anecdotes this promises to be a great way to finish this year's lecture series.The ‘Bringing Fingle Woods Back to Life’ project has been enabled by nearly £800,000 of National Lottery funding. This Christmas, to thank National Lottery players, we are offering ticket-holders a free treat. As without National Lottery players, the £7.9billion of funding awarded to more than 43,000 heritage projects and organisations since 1994, would not have been possible.If you’re attending ‘A year at Fingle in Photographs’, bring a new scratch card or current draw lotto ticket and pick up a free Fingle Woods 2019 Calendar (while stock lasts) as a thank you. • One National Lottery ticket entitles the holder to collect 1 free Fingle Woods 2019 Calendar from the Fingle Bridge Inn, Drewsteignton, Exeter, EX6 6PW.
• The offer is valid on the 13th of December between 6.30pm to 9pm (dependent on availability).
• The Fingle Woods 2019 Calendar will be given out at the ‘A year at Fingle in Photographs’ talk at the Fingle Bridge Inn when talk attendees arrive with their National Lottery tickets.
• The National Lottery ticket must have been purchased between the 1st of September 2018 and the 13th of December 2018.
• All National Lottery games qualify for the offer (including both National Lottery draw-based games and National Lottery Scratchcards). Proof of purchase of a National Lottery game can be either a hard copy ticket or a digital ticket.
