Stay Connected

For many people, Spring is a season of hope and optimism. New life is bursting from the warming soil and vibrant colours, sounds and smells stimulate our senses and inspire our minds but, during this enforced period of ‘lockdown’ we may feel that we are missing out. We may be used to the feeling of freedom, when we go where we please, whenever we want, so, whilst staying within the limits of these temporary restrictions, we need to be mindful of our wellbeing. We must look after ourselves and those we care about. Don’t get disconnected.
So, like all wildlife, I take the opportunities where I can. I want to stay well and stay optimistic so I will appreciate the positive moments and maintain hope. Children across the country have been painting rainbows for their windows, sharing positive messages to passers-by – a beaming smile of togetherness.“My heart leaps up when I behold, a rainbow in the sky” William Wordsworthby Matt Parkins
