Delightful day to visit a dig
Excavations at Wooston Castle are coming to an end this weekend, so tomorrow (Saturday the 21st) we are holding an open day so you can come along and see what the archaeologists have discovered. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to give guided tours of the hillfort and trenches and Dartmoor Horse Loggers, who helped clear all the trees off the site, will be doing demonstrations. We're looking forward to seeing lots of you there. If you can't make the open day, the excavation will be featured on BBC Spotlight tonight at 18:30 and 22:25, so you can tune in to BBC One to find out more.Wooston Castle Excavation Open DayDate: Saturday 21st AprilTime: Drop in anytime between 11am - 3pm
