May's Fingle Lecture: Heavy Horses
May’s Fingle Lecture will take place next Thursday the 3rd of May. We will be joined by Will and Alex Hampton from Dartmoor Horse Loggers. We've frequently used Heavy Horses in Fingle to assist with our woodland management because of their flexibility and low impact. Will and Alex will demonstrate how maneuverableand versatile their horses are, show you some of the techniques they use and explain the advantages of using horses for woodland management. The talk will take place at Clifford Shed on the road between Clifford Bridge and Mardon Down (nearest post code EX6 6QE 200m east) and will start at approximately 7pm.
